The new large-format bog mat is built for the conditions standard mats cannot handle — peat, marsh, and waterlogged ground under heavy crawler plant. By putting much more area under the machine, it lowers ground bearing pressure to a level the soil can carry, floating plant that would otherwise punch straight through.

Crane and rig platforms

The bigger footprint suits crane standing and rig platforms, where the standing has to hold a crawler crane or a piling rig on soft fill. An overlapping flange and locking-pin joint ties the mats into a continuous, rigid surface that does not pump mud or walk apart under repeated loading.

The large-format bog mat sits at the top of the heavy-duty line, above the standard and heavy-duty access mats, for pipeline right-of-way across wetland, remote-site haul roads, and wind-farm crane pads.
