Lay a mat run on grass and you create a 12–19 mm lip at every perimeter — a trip edge for pedestrians and a jolt for trolleys and wheelchairs. The anti-slip edge ramp is a bevelled HDPE strip that tapers that mat height down to ground level, turning an abrupt step into a smooth transition onto and off the matted surface — it finishes a run laid for construction site access.

Accessibility and trolley access

A smooth transition is what makes a mat run usable by wheelchairs, mobility scooters, prams, and pallet trucks. The ~3 ft sections clip or bolt along the open edge of standard 12–19 mm mats, so you can ramp the entry, exit, and any exposed side of a walkway to remove the bump that otherwise stops wheels at the threshold.

A safer, visible edge

Beyond the ramp profile itself, a high-visibility yellow option marks the edge of the matted area so foot traffic sees where the surface ends. The same accessory tidies the edge of a cable ramp or a temporary floor, giving a finished perimeter rather than a raw lip.
